1. Saturate your hair with Listerine. Cover with shower cap and leave on your hair for 2 hours! You’ll smell minty fresh! After 2 hours, rinse your hair and then saturate with Vinegar. Cover with shower cap again and let sit for 1 hour. Rinse the vinegar out and then wash with the Dawn soap, as if you were washing with shampoo. Then comb through with the metal comb. This is very effective to get rid of head lice.

2. Many parents prefer coating their child hair with a hair conditioner, making sure to bathe each strand. Then carefully comb, section by section, with a fine toothed metal comb, especially made and sold to combat head lice. Wipe the comb after each pass through the hair. A louse is about the size and shape of a sesame seed; the nits (or eggs) are small, white, and cling to the hair shaft down near the root. Nits resemble dandruff but do not flake off.
3. You can also try this method to get rid of head lice. Use creamy peanut butter. Part hair in small sections and put peanut butter on the hair and comb back out with the small lice comb. This will take all the eggs out. This takes about 3 hours to do, but it works.
