Moles are small agricultural pest. Moles burrow in gardens and lawns. 1. Line the sides and bottoms of plants and beds with 1/2-inch galvanized wire mesh. You can do this while preparing a new bed for planting, or you can place mesh around the base of each individual plant. The mesh will allow the roots to grow but will stop the mole from killing the plants by uprooting them. This is a simple method to get rid of moles.

2. To use a mole trap, first flatten the tunnels by stepping on them or by using a lawn roller. This will allow you to tell which mole tunnels are being used, because new ones will appear the next day. Put the Victor mole traps on these new tunnels. Set the Victor mole traps and leave them, taking care not to trample or disturb any other portion of the runway system. Check the traps once or twice a day. If a trap fails to produce a mole within 4-5 days, move the Victor mole traps to another portion of the runway system or use another runway.

3. To get rid of moles, you have to stop their food supply. Grubs! Once you have done that the moles will go else where for food. By the way, the grubs are Japanese beetle larvas. In other words, the grubs grow up to be Japanese beetles. A good place to go to get the best help is your local farm and feed store or try your local county extension.
