Step 10 -Walk away from the state of affairs. Removing yourself will allow the other party to gain control and also give you time to think how best you can handle it. But set a sensible time limit when both parties agree to reconvene.
Step 11 - Maintain a Neutral Body and Voice. By keeping your body loose and your tone neutral, you are more likely to remain calm.
