How to set up a lan step 1 - First what you need to do is if you\'re going to have internet for your LAN you need to set up your modem. (Optional)
How to set up a lan Step 2 - Now what you need to do is if you\'re adding internet is hook up your router to your modem by taking the Ethernet cable from the modem and placing the other end into the routers WAN slot. Make sure that everything is hooked up including power and all. (Only for Internet)
