Home Remedies for How to stop a nose bleed:
Vinegar, lemon juice, and salt.
Take a small cup and pour about 1 tablespoon of salt in it. Then put just enough vinegar in it to dissolve the salt. Put a few squirts of lemon juice into the salt and vinegar and stir. One should then smell this liquid very close to the nose and deeply. Bleeding stops in a few sniffs.
Gauze, or similar
We have been taught by our grandparents to put a rolled up piece of gauze under the upper lip between the lip and gums to stop a sever nose bleed. I don\'t get nose bleeds, but it does work. I\'ve used it on several patients.
1 small square of a brown paper bag
This actually works and it only takes a few seconds rip off a small piece of a brown paper bag (grocery store variety) Place it under your upper lip - on the gum - just above your front teeth. And presto--- After about 1 or 2 minutes (or less) - No more bloody nose. This was from our family in Memphis Tennessee- They had great remedies.
Raw peanuts
Regular nosebleeds can occur from lack of vitamin K. Eating raw peanuts can fix this problem.
