Stuttering can be a frustrating habit when trying to get your point across. Use this guide to help you to learn How to stop stuttering.
Stuttering therapy has grown in popularity over the last few years, and it certainly seems to be helpful in many cases. However, not everyone can afford to spend so much time and money pursuing a stuttering cure that is often very expensive.

2.Force yourself to talk on the phone.I know this is the hardest thing ever for people who stutter, but first start off with people who are closest to you like your siblings or your parents. Talk on the phone with them for at least one hour everyday. This starts giving you confidence that you can talk to others too so it will help you overcome the fear of telephones.
3.Practice Steps 1 and 2 on your own. It\'s better this way so that when you\'re in a group and trying to speak, it flows nicer.
4.Read the dictionary. If you plain\' old just don\'t know how to say words, get up that dictionary and look up words. Just flip through it and pick a word and say it.
5.Let others know of your struggle so that they\'ll understand and help you with things.

Be very patient with yourself. It\'s difficult to overcome stuttering, so you have to really be careful not to lose temper.
If you\'ve tried everything you could but still have stuttering problems, seek an expert who can give you more professional advice.

Stressful situations can be particularly aggravating to a stutterer. If you find yourself in one, be especially mindful of letters and words that are difficult for you to say. However, be aware that even people that don\'t ordinarily stutter will in especially traumatic situations, so if something must be said (such as: "CALL 911!) say it as quickly as your stumbling tongue will allow and don\'t worry about what other people think
