How to stop sweating

When the natural perspiration in some people is excessive, this condition is known as excessive sweating or Hyperhidrosis. Hyperhidrosis is a physical condition caused by Excessive Sweating in the body. Hyperhidrosis is caused due to malfunctioning of the sympathetic nervous system or disorders of the sweat glands. ControlExcessiveSweating provides the best excessive perspiration treatment. Though Excessive Sweating causes are many the primary causes are still unknown and the secondary causes range from anxiety, obesity and psychological tension. Hyperhidrosis symptoms can be dripping sweat, odor along with sweat, stained clothes due to sweat and inferiority complex due to sweat.

The condition you\'re referring to is known as hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating. Our bodies naturally perspire as a way to regulate temperature, but in people with hyperhidrosis, the perspiration is excessive--beyond what\'s necessary to cool the body. "No one knows for sure why this happens," says William P. Coleman III, M.D., clinical professor of dermatology at Tulane University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and an expert on hyperhidrosis. "Some people just have more active sweat glands than others do. If you want to learn How to stop sweating then ".

Here, though, are a few steps that may help minimize your sweat production:

Exercise regularly to control your weight (heavier people tend to have higher body temperatures and thus sweat more).

Avoid smoking and limit caffeine; both can raise your body\'s metabolic rate and hypothetically could increase sweating, Coleman says.

Dress in light-colored, loose-fitting clothes, and try to wear cotton clothing next to your skin. Silk and artificial fabrics can cling, restricting airflow and causing you to sweat more. Garment Guards ($11 for five pairs; garment guard.com) are thin, disposable cotton shields with a sticky side that can be attached to the inside of your clothes to absorb excess sweat.

Make sure your antiperspirant contains aluminum zirconium, an ingredient that stops sweating by blocking pores, which prevents perspiration from escaping.

These are also the points to be kept in mind if you want to know How to stop sweating:

1.Always talk to your doctor first about your health issues. Hyperhidrosis (over sweating) could have serious underlying causes that may require surgery or antibiotics in severe cases. Only your health care provider can diagnose these types of issues.

2.Check your local drug store or grocery store for an antiperspirant/deodorant. Make sure it says antiperspirant on the label. Try a few and determine if any of them reduce the amount you sweat.

3.Your doctor should deem your sweating is normal ask him/her about Drysol. Drysol is aluminum cholride and when applied to the underarms works to block the sweat glands and plug the pores. It is a prescription medication and should only be used with a doctor\'s guidance.

4.Try wearing a plain white t-shirt underneath your normal shirts. This will be your first line of defense against sweat puddles forming on your outer shirt. Also, the white t-shirts are easy to bleach/oxy-clean the stains out of. However, this may have the opposite of the desired effect, especially if the shirt makes you too hot or gets bunched in your armpits.

5.If it happens to be your feet that are sweating excessivly, try taking an extra pair of shoes and socks with you in the morning. Change both about halfway through your day. While it won\'t eliminate the sweating it will keep your feet dry.

6.Make sure you shower/bathe regularly. This will help to minimize effects of oversweating.

7.Drink plenty of water. it both dilutes the concentration of the your bodily effluents and it cleanses the whole system.

8.Stop using a combination of Antiperspirant/Deodorant and try using only a deodorant. You could be having an alergic reaction to the Antiperspirant that is causing the sweating.

Warnings before knowing How to stop sweating

Nothing compares to a health care provider\'s professional opinion. Always check with your doctor first.

However, this is only a guess proven by some experiments and disproved by others. Don\'t take this idea seriously until it is actually proven
