Want to look good at the club or party? You’re not going to do it sitting down! Many people are uncomfortable with dancing, but life’s too short not to get your groove on from time to time. The good news is, most occasions for dancing these days don’t require a lot (or even any) technical knowledge, just some confidence and willingness to move. So get out there and shake it. Steps on how to dance
1 Realize that dancing is all about confidence. When you go out, remember you are there to have fun, and so is everyone else. No one is judging you on how you dance, and if they are then they probably aren\'t the sort of people worth worrying about. If your esteem is low, your body language will reflect this, so go out there and have fun.
2 Practice dancing whenever you have the chance. Unfortunately, confidence isn’t something you can easily fake on the dance floor. Build your confidence by dancing in the kitchen, in the bedroom—anywhere you feel comfortable. Not only will this help to improve your general fitness, but you\'ll start to feel more comfortable in your body. Watch yourself in a mirror to get an idea of what looks good and what doesn’t.
3 Get in shape. You don’t have to have a model’s body to look good dancing, but once you feel more comfortable with your body, you\'ll be able to move it in ways you never thought possible. If you look good, you’ll feel sexy, and the sexier you feel the better you look.
4 If you want to learn how to dance, study! Watch scenes from movies, TV shows or music videos and pay attention to what is going on. Some songs develop a particular dance to go along with them, and watching the video may be the best way to learn that dance. There are also a lot of standard moves that you’ll see time and time again. Pay attention and pick up on them. While watching TV doesn’t usually get you in better shape, if you practice dancing along with the videos, you can even accomplish step 3 in front of the tube.
5 Take a class. Some formal dances really require that you know specific techniques, but there are classes for every style of dance, and even a few hours of class time can help you learn the basics and build your confidence. When you are being taught a routine look at what it is the teacher is doing. Try to copy it exactly. Then if it doesn\'t work check the teacher again and look for the little things he or she does that make it easier but never drop idea about how to dance. Go ahead and ask the teacher for tips; chances are he or she knows quite a few.
6 Watch other dancers if you wanna learn how to dance. If you’re not sure how to dance to a song, take your cues from other dancers. You don’t want to copy them exactly (unless it’s a standardized dance), but you can get some ideas.
7 Dance with a partner. Sure, you can have fun and look great dancing by you, but it can be even better to dance with someone. You’ll probably feel less awkward with a partner, and the two of you can follow and build on each other’s moves.
8 Lose yourself in the music. Let your body move naturally to the beats and rhythms. Listen to the beat and the rhythm and let your arms a and legs take you places you may also put you hips into it.. Be creative and original having fun. Do things that look good and use a variety of styles for example different levels – this completes your how to dance session.
