Don't feel guilty........I was never so relieved as the day my Mom and Dad split up. Even at 10yrs old I knew that the fighting wasn't okay and that they were better off apart, of course, I never said that to my Dad, because he was heart sick, but that was 27 years ago and it proved to be the right decision for them and us kids! |

well its not easy for some people. but if you just met someone at school or something like that. than the first thing that you would say is like hi and whats your name and tihngs like that to start the converstaion. than you would ask her what classes you two have together if you in middle school. thn see if shes or he is getting into the conversation or not. if not...thn ask her something about her...like if she or has a bf or gf or something like that...nd thn they;ll answer and tell you..thn ask them if they have a email adress, myspace, aim, friendster, msn, etc. and keep the converstaion going. thn try talking to her everyday..and get to know each other very much...thn after you;ve become good friends ask her for her number so u too can cal leacher.... and thn make plans to go to the prk and stuff like taht....ts not as easy as it sounds..so gud luck..oh ya and ask her wat type of music she likes and stuff like that too..just to keep the converstaion going and she will ask you too...and thn do the same thing with other people too...gud luck and hope i helepd |

Have faith on yourself-Self respect and self confidence will reduce your crazy thoughts.,Engage yourself in volunteer works that help others.Engage yourself in positive works--i.e Writing, gossipping,Laughing, crying or any work according to your taste and likings. Do your duty first--then don`t wait for its result---rest keep it on God.Meditation will help you,--i.e.--go with the breathe--think whom you love and trust best. |

There are loads of opportunities in journalism. I studied in Surrey, UK, a degree in journalism. From experience, the best thing is who you know, contacts...what I mean from this is try work experience and work for nothing at your local paper, to get in the door. You can have the best grades in the world, but if you are pally with someone in the game already, enough said. There are loads of opportunities, for example sub editing, designing, pay layout structuring, court reporting if you like reporting on crime, sport reporting, proofing. Journalism isnt a dead end job, its all to do with ambition. Every job is a dead end job if you have no ambition. |

Ah the always helpful government. Do you have a student health center? They usually charge less and if they have a pharmacy that can help cut costs.
If not, is there some kind of clinic in your area--run by med school or nursing students or even a "free" clinic so you can get diagnosed and treated? Prescriptions should be available for a reasonable price at WalMart or such which ALSO might have a clinic as might a drug or grocery store in your area.
IF this is your only health problem, I pray, then look at a place like ehealthinsurance and see if you can find an HSA or some decent insurance plan and get your own.
Does your state have a high risk insurance pool IF they decide you're not healthy enough to cover?

My best friend is Korean, she was even born there. Her parents were set to marry when they were born. Her dad is 15 years older than her mom. There is even a creepy picture of her dad at the age of 12 or 13 holding her mothers hand as she is trying to walk. They knew all along they would marry, but they never fell in love. This goes on all the time in Korea, because they think if they do so- they can breed more success. Her parents haven't divorced, but they sleep in seperate beds, and barely talk- its not in their culture to seperate. |

For many people it is easier for the new spouse to deal with the ex. This is mostly due to the fact that they have no emotional baggage.
This woman may very well want to be nosey but if you limit your conversations to the children and when she tries to change the subject to you two then say "I'm sorry but that is not something that I choose to discuss with you, was there anything else that you needed or wanted to know about the kids?"
This way you have drawn your line and if she respects that then you will not have the problem again if she does not then get caller id and when she calls let the machine get it unless the kids are there and old enough to answer the phone and chat with her themselves. |

First, I would go to a staffing agency. I don't know where you are. They have different ones depending on the location. You can even goto www.google.com and click on maps, then click find businesses. Put in your address and "Staffing Agencies" and a list should come up. It's free to register. You call and set up an appointment. They will ask for your resume, identification, and may have you take a few administrative tests such as figuring out how many words you can type per minute, etc. Dress nicely for the interview, but don't worry if you don't have a suit, anything nice enough will do. Ones in my area are Jason Best, Inc., Appleone, Officeteam, etc. It is THEIR JOB to GET YOU A JOB so generally within a month they can at least find you some temporary work. Stay strong and try your hardest. You may feel like you're behind at first but if you stay positive and get there on time, ask questions and try to learn as much as you can while completing everything as best as you can, then you will end up with a steady position or at least be asked back for temp work. If you have no college education, there are still plenty of positions available out there with room for growth. For example, a Resident Assistant at an Assisted Living Home is a highly respected job that is similar to a nurses but requires only a high school diploma. Your pay may not be great but their is room for development towards an Assisted Living Director, etc. as these positions also do not require a college degree. As for childcare, I would assume churches might have the least expensive, also, if there is a preteen or teen in your area they will probably take less pay per hour than a daycare center. You might even approach a Youth Center or High School and ask them if there is a bulletin board where you could post an ad for a nanny/babysitter. Cut the bottom of the paper into sections with your name and phone number. If all you can afford is $5.00 an hour, put it in the ad so kids will know ahead of time. If don't hear back you can always put up another one that says $7.00 per hour, etc. You could also do this at a daycare center or preschool because people may accept lower pay if it is only for part time work. I posted an ad that offered my babysitting services to others and ended up with a summer job the very next day! Best wishes and may good luck come your way. |

It really depends on where you work. If you're older and trying a to build a career at a certain workplace, its generally not a good idea. If you're both 16 working at a fast food joint, thats a little different. Check your workplace's policies before pursuing anything. In all honesy, the workplace is probably one of the best places to meet someone. You get a much more honest view of the person and their behavior then you would if you just met them on the street and asked for a date. If both people are on the same wavelength regarding where the relationship is going, then it may be worth it. I think I remember reading somewhere that the third most common place people met their spouse was at work. |

As a mental health professional with 20+ years experience, now retired, I initially consider, or wonder, what you're daily life activities are. It sounds to me as though your mind has too much "free reign" to wander where it wants to, and, as usual, they come up with some of the weirdest stuff, and if you take it too seriously, like these people who always ask us to interpret their dreams, then you're just adding anxiety and maybe a bit of paranoia to an otherwise normal activity of the mind when given too much "free reign" due to a lack of demand on it's capabilities. Of course, there's always the issue of substance abuse or dependence that has its own "influence" on what your brain does, but, ruling that out, then I'd consider what your daily life activities are for the purpose of determining whether you're using your mind for constructive purposes or you're just letting an idle "power plant" go goofy. God Bless you. |
