You break up with him much like you would with any other guy-- you wait until he's not doing terribly bad, avoid doing so at the major holidays, then tell him gently that it is not working out, and that you need something different.
In your situation, though, you have an alternative many people don't: if his cancer is terminal, you can wait for him to die (and probably should). I think if you took a survey on here, many people on here would be *quite pleased* if their ex'es dropped dead. ;-) |

Divorce is usually hard for the kids more so than the adults. You seem to be taking it pretty good. It is not your fault and it can be alot nicer for you to see your parent as separate being especially if they have not got ton along in quite awhile. Don't feel guilty that is probably why they stayed together for so long was that they didn't want you to feel that way. Handle it?..Keep the lines of communication ope to both remember you are their child not their mediator. They love you irregardless of how they feel toward each other.....another suggestion try to get them to agree to have a family picture with you every yr not for them but for you, you might not understand that now but later you'll put it together |

This sounds strange, especially the part about the police not assisting. But any who, a restaining order can be requested at the police department by your cousin or her parents (assuming parents are around). If parents are around, seems like dad could handle this pretty easy. I wish some jerk would hit on my daughter....but thats not the topic.
If you honestly contacted the police, continue to do so. Maybe they did not understand the seriousness of your statements but if anything happens to your cousin and they don't do anything you will have a pretty nice lawsuit.
Also, you being 15 should probably try to stay far away from this situation, or risk getting yourself hurt by this looney tune. |

First of all breathe. It's not as bad as you think. i was a single mother for 8 years before I met my husband and my kids dad did nothing. It sucked. i didn't have a car, so I had to take the bus and he had a car. No help what so ever from him. He was a lazy----. You need to realize that your son is going to see all that you are doing and will love you and reward you more for all of it. It is going to take blood, sweat and tears at times but it is worth it to give your child a great life. Single mom's and single dads always have the short end of the stick and the other parent never gives a sh**. Why? you ask, because they have no worries because they know we are going to take care of it. So put less effort into being mad at your ex and less effort worrying about his compromising and more effort into you and your son and the great life you are making for him. The only time I felt not stressed is when my kids would tell me they love me and that i am the greatest mom. Just like you are. My son has never seen his dad and he will be 12 in Dec. my daughter saw him every once in a while since she was 1, she is 9 now. He would come to see her when my son was at daycare or school. How much of a jerk is that? He is the one that is going to miss out. You will get all the glory in the long run when your son is grown up and the President of some company and he will turn and thank his MOM for all her hard work in his child hood. As for Mona's comment, tell her to go back to school to learn grammar. Good Luck!!!! |

First of all, to lose your insurance, you've had to be covered by that employer in the first place, correct? Do you know if it was on a "mini" or limited medical plan basis? There are rules and regulations in each state that are specifically aimed at protecting the consumer's (insured) rights, and it just doesn't sound lawful for that to have happened, I am a registered insurance agent for life, accident, sickness, disability, variable lines and I may be able to help you if you could furnish me with a little bit more information. Do you work in a union? I am also very framiliar with the medicaid system, there are ways to work it, I just need additional information. Just so you start to feel more comfortable with kissing you should start with a peck. Then maybe move on to a french kiss but be aware not to use too much tongue. Im afraid the only way in knowing if your a good kisser is by asking your boyfriend. If you are very confident in kissing and dont hold back that will make you a good kisser making your boyfriend believe that you know exactly what your doing.
Make sure you have fresh breath before you kiss because if you dont it's a major turn off. Tilt your head slightly so you dont hit noses and move 75 % of the way towards your boyfriend and let him do the 25%. There is no rule for kissing. Just go with the flow and try not to hit teeth. After the first time it will become much easier for you. Just push urself into that first step and you will be fine. Make sure your lips are moist by either licking you lips before the kiss or applying some lip balm, a nice flavour will add a little extra to the kiss. Don't make the kiss too wet or slobbery. Make sure you swallow your saliva every now and again during the kiss. Before the kiss it is a good idea to suck up all the saliva inside your mouth so it is dry.
You can hug him during the kiss but the most common thing a girl does with her hands is to put her arms around his neck and maybe use one hand to brush your fingers through his hair, or you could just simply hold hands or gently lay your hands on his shoulders while his hands are around your waist.

There are better guys out there you need to call it quit. He used you just like the other guy, you are y young these types of things should make you stronger and more mature as you getting older. It is not OK to cheat on someone for any reason no matter what if a person cheats on you shows no respect for nobody. Yes you can forgive him but it does not mean that it is OK to date him. After that he probably won't ever take you serious.The kiss was nothing to him but probably mean something to u just forget it. All you got to do is forgive him and move on because you can do way better than that! Take care |

I am amused at some of the answers. The Catholic Church "my" Church is the reason the government does not allow divorce. This is one of many examples of where "my" Church tries to force our personal beliefs down the throats of people who do not choose to be a follower of "my" Church. I thought the Philippines was a Democratic form of government with separation of Church and State?
Because we are "true Christians" he-he. One of the most corrupt societies on the universe yet you claim to be "true Christians". I wonder how many of these "true Christians" attend weekly services. A recent poll revealed the alarming number of people in the Philippines who pay off traffic cops, pay to speed up permits, etc. How many of these "true Christians" are teaching their children corruption is an acceptable way of life if it profits you. How many of these "true Christians" have two or three families and are not faithful to the one they are married to.
"Ask Jesus instead of the government", he-he. Who do I ask if I am Muslim, Buddhist, or Atheist? Jesus might prefer President Estrada to have a divorce rather than have several illegal and illigitimate families?
"My" Church will keep you under its colonial rule as long as you allow it to and divorce will be ban. "My" Church is responsible for producing illigitimate children and unless you have money they will not allow your illigitmate children to attend our Catholic schools. School entrance to a Catholic School needs you to produce a Birth Certificate and Marriage License to prove you are legit unless of course the local Priest is apalled by the hyprocrisy of it all and looks the other way. Yes, we Catholics make sure the chiildren pay for the sins of their parents and if we can we will force everyone to live as we say (not necessarily as we do)! |
